I went to the Bugs web

I was not authenticated

I Create New Item from left menu bar

Write and save

I am asked to authenticate

I get an error

TWiki detected an internal error - please check your TWiki logs and webserver logs for more information.

Use of uninitialized value in string ne

I then go back.

Save again.

It goes well and I do not need to authenticate again.

But when I raised this bug it did not go wrong.

But when I saved the previous bug I also had two verbatim start tags (forgot the /).

I have seen the "Use of uninitialized value in string ne" a few times before here on develop.

I strongly suspect this arises because develop is regulary updated from subversion, and the code gets overwritten whenever that update happens. So DEVELOP gets its knickers in a twist every so often. Before reporting "bug" seen on DEVELOP, you should really try to reproduce it on a local system, or failing that, see if it still occurs on DEVELOP after a few minutes.
