Does this site look broken?. Use the LitterTray web for test cases.

When installing a TWiki from MAIN by

  • getting sources from SVN
  • pseudo-svn linking all extensions
  • setting paths, etc., in configure
the system comes up, but TWiki crashes at
Can't call method "maketext" on an undefined value at
/e/www/twiki-latest/TWikiRelease04x00/lib/TWiki/Access.pm line 172.

I guess i18N didn't get created for some reason. Can you nail it down any more than that?

I am not quite sure what I can say here, except that I followed above described process and twiki does not come up due the above error. -- TW
This sounds very similar to Item3001 i.e. module on @INC not found. Are you sure you have your LocalLib.cfg set up correctly?

CC

Sure? No, how can I, as there is no clear definition of thwat it means that it is "set up correctly"...

For whatever it is worth, configure does not report any errors or warnings, and examining the path settings in configure reveals not problem.

It should, however, be relatively painless to bring up a TWiki directly from SVN.... I am a pretty experienced TWiki user, but I cannot figure out what is wrong... that is not a good sign... -- TW

Problem disappeard in Item11778 -- TW
