Detail

it causes groups to be empty, and generally fails to allow users to do much.

I have not yet worked out the best way to resolve this, or even if we should make it work / if it used to work...

marking as urgent til we know more

-- TWiki:Main/SvenDowideit - 09 Jan 2008

and once we do, there'll be more unit tests needed

-- TWiki:Main.SvenDowideit - 09 Jan 2008

its an odd case, as TemplateLogin will allow anyone to login in as anyone, without knowing a pwd, while apache auth would work the other (safer) way

-- TWiki:Main.SvenDowideit - 09 Jan 2008

setting to non-urgent - I've commited what is needed for it not to crash.
