Detail

The TWikiAccessControl currently suggest to use Apache rewrite rules to secure attachments, e.g. to make them aware of topic access restrictions. On 2012-08-13, TWiki:Main.WillemEngen suggested in TWiki:TWiki.TWikiAccessControl to simply use Alias and ScriptAlias instead of rewrite rules.

This item tracks the changes in the docs and in TWiki:TWiki.ApacheConfigGenerator.

Related, the doc is updated to use /pub for pub URL path instead of /twiki/pub.

This is now in SVN trunk and 5.1 branch. TWiki:TWiki.ApacheConfigGenerator is updated as well.
