Details

We have been using speedycgi for all of the twiki scripts, including edit and save. This has been working fine for the other plugins.

However using the Wysiwyg plugin, it appears some global variable is not being reset. As a result, the save operation appears to append data from the last save operation (by any user). This results in the strange report "my topic just got a copy of this other topic added".

I have not yet determined if the problem is in the edit script or save script, but I suspect it is the save operation given the behavior seen by my users.

Test Case

I can reproduce it on my installation with IE and Firefox but with mod_perl instead of speedycgi

I spoke recently with ColasNahaboo and he told me he has fixed this problem, or at least he identified precisely the bug. I think Crawford is aware of this problem already. -- MichelBuffa - 14 Oct 2005

Indeed, and it's fixed in the SVN repository. I will re-release the plugin when I've cleared up a few other reports from here. Watch for 0.18. -- CrawfordCurrie - 16 Oct 2005
