After upgrading from Cairo to Dakar all the links to local files having spaces in filename will not work anymore. They are truncated to the part before the first space in the filename.
E.g.
Pendenzenliste
will result in a hyperlink to
file://srvnthaas/t/2005-06-02
Workaround:
Changing all the spaces to %20. But unfortunately we have a plenty of those filenames with spaces in our TWiki.
--
I'd venture they should be changed to _ - as this is what spaces are mapped to now during upload

MC, I believe this is for "Network Neighbourhood"-style links - unfortunately we probably won't be able to pursuade MS to change their current way of doing things, even though we have seen the light
Rainer, I took a shot at leaving explicit links more alone, see if it works for you, else please re-open again.
SVN 8706.

Sorry, I misread this. I thought the reference was to files previously uploaded that contained spaces in the filenames. Dakar allows you to edit the filename filter, I had imagined that Rainer had included spaces in that filter but could no longer access files uploaded that way.
