Bag topic to change topics or templates without obvious bug. -- AC

nope, each fix/enhancement should get its own Item# (look at the mess of bugs on TWiki:Plugins.PatternSkinDev if you think this isn't a good idea) -- WN

I agree. For example, in r6796 Artur took out the line

%INCLUDE {"%IF{"context can_login" then="%TWIKIWEB%.WebLeftBarLogin"}%" warn="off"} %
from every WebLeftBar and referd it to this catchall without logging it here.

Now it may have come about from the argument about whether the TWikiRegistration shoul have the address and all that ensued. But if that was the case then there should have been a BUGS report addressing that. There needs to be an accountability and audit trail.

If the WebLeftBarLogin is to be discarded then there needs to be a separate bugs item for it.

If it is not needed in an intranet context because of automatic login then it should be in some kind of wrapper or it should be left in and the context should display the users name or WikiName

Either way, I see no justification for removing it and no justification for tagging its removal with this Bug#

6769? Comment reads Item341: choosing a smaller default logo

You mean 6979? Costly these typos smile

I was not sure if this was worth a bug report. It shows it was.

This "bag" topic I only use to to be able to make visual changes in css.

I have described the code change in Item673. -- AC

compared to certain un-named individuals that use Bugs.Item0, this is a useful compromise - I'm going to make it as 'actioning' so I don't keep loooking at it smile -- SD
The top actionbar jumps around in the wild since lately. Compare top_actionbar_jumps_around.gif -- FJ
I can't remember having changed anything there. But today I noticed too on IE on WinXP that the tool buttons are positioned in the middle, and with mouse rollover jump to the right. Is it this bug? AC
Exactly! -- FJ
It appears that Win/IE cannot cope with position:relative of the buttons - at least not with the current interface complexity, so I've removed position:relative and z-index:0. But this also means that highlighted tabs don't go 'over' the horizontal line anymore. Anyone hoping for a WikiMedia-type tab interface will have to do this in a different way.
