As an admin it is too confusing to setup TWiki for having login name same as or different from
WikiName.
There are these config options that all cover the same thing and all must be set right
{MapUserToWikiName} is marked as an EXPERT item. It is default on. And it sais in the text that you need to set it to $FALSE (which in itself is geeky text) when you use .htpasswd authentication. Currently if you follow this advice you break Reset Password (another bug I just opened) so it is not even true that you should set it OFF: And why is it an expert setting? This is pretty essential in any new installation.
{Register}{AllowLoginName} covers the same thing. If you allow people to have a different login name and
WikiName then naturally you need to enable this.
Now - why are there TWO settings for the same thing? We could do with just one.

Agreed.

I removed
MapUserToWikiName, and added a checker to detect if they were inconsistent.
