An INCLUDEable navigation block for the left bar to facilitate navigation.
AC
When you try this in practical it is not very logical what it is doing.
The experience is that you get a random selection of the links on the current topic. Often it shows nothing.
I do not think this is an enhancement that should be in the left bar in the distribution.
In addition this feature requires a METASEARCH of all topics in the web each time you view a topic. This slows down TWiki even more.
Besides. This is feature creaping. We are on feature freeze and we will never release 4.1 if people continue to add new features with new bugs.
I would kindly request that you remove this enhancement out of the default left bar leaving the navigation topic for people to use if they find it useful and can accept the slowdown.

I've built this for our company intranet, and donate this to TWiki. The orginal version was in the very first pattern site:
http://visiblearea.com/patterns/ that was the beginning of my cooperation with TWiki.
This navigation has become possible now METASEARCH accepts a
format
parameter.
That the list does not appear logical is because of the random parent-child relations of TWiki topics. It can be fixed by reparenting topics. And this should be done at some time.
But I understand we are frozen and should not add new features (unfortunately this happens every half year). I will remove the INCLUDE from the left bars.
AC
No problem with having the topic with the feature available. As long as it is not in the default left bars then it is a good and risk free addition that people can use or modify to their taste.
I guess we can put this as Waiting for Release so I have done that
