The thank you screen after filling out the registration form has a message that an e-mail has been sent to name@domainPLEASENOSPAM.com. For new users this is very confusing; there is no need to do spam padding for this particular screen. On TWiki.org people ask about once a week that there is a "problem with the e-mail address."

Suggestion: Disable the spam padding just for this screen.

-- PTh

There are a number of screens used in registration where the email should not be padded.

I avoided the padding by entity encoding the adress, which stops twiki rendering from recognising it as an email address and munging it.

That is a good and simple solution. After all, there is no need to link the e-mail addresses since the users do not send themselfs a message.

Although, are admin e-mails no longer linked? If there is an error, the user should be able to send an e-mail to the admin easily. (I changed state to Actioning so that this question does not get lost.)

-- PTh

Admin emails are not affected, only the user email.
