Sven brought a good point to the table on IRC
[17:24] <sven_> mind you, if your twiki is as bad as t.o
[17:24] <sven_> then the topics are not licensed
[17:25] <osirisjem> motion detection .. cool :)
[17:25] <sven_> and so are actually not distributable
[17:25] <Lavr> I did think about adding a license but since I did not do it from the start it is difficult to ask for permission from all contributors.
[17:26] <sven_> exactly
[17:26] <sven_> we really should add that step to the install docs
[17:26] <sven_> as its a real shit later on
[17:26] <Lavr> Good point. Will make a bug item and assign it to myself.
I will add a small note to the installation doc that first time installers should consider which license topics and its contributions should have and add it to the footer copyright setting.

As I wrote this doc update it occured to me that when you alter the WEBCOPYRIGHT setting globally you end up declaring your own local copyright and license also for the TWiki docs. We can live with the few topics in the normal webs but the TWiki web should maintain the original copyright. I therefore copy the setting to
TWiki.WebPreferences
so when people define their own global definition the TWiki web keeps the original statement.
Checking in the changes and setting waiting for release
