Does this site look broken?. Use the LitterTray web for test cases.

one reason is to help reduce the pollution in the TWiki web

a more pragmatic reason is that the TWiki web is now locked down by default, and so lots of demos don't work there anymore.

This however have the unfortunate side effect that it now becomes even more difficult for the administrator to clean up the sandbox now and then. After a year in production there are 100s abadonned topics from users that just tried something and it is normal to clean up the mess by simply deleting all these topics. If we now have plugin demos installed in sandbox this cleanout process becomes more difficult.

I am not sure this is a very good idea though I understand the original problem also.

well, would a standard prefix (or suffix) like "PluginTestTopic" or something alleviate that? mind you, i don't see much reason to clean the Sandbox web, but i suppose some installations will want to do that.

A consistant naming scheme will be a good help. Whatever you choose will work.

Closing this because it isn't SMART (it's not clear what extensions it applies to)
