I tried the
PatternSkinCustomization " I want to have the language selection in the top bar" and it does not look good.
The entry field is not centered but moved down at the bottom of the bar and into the area below.
I tried to make a very simple "Hi" instead.
<div class="twikiRight" style="margin-right:2em;">
Hi
</div>
This moves the logo up and places the Hi at the bottom of the bar.
Somehow the
WebTopBar is close to impossible for any normal person to do anything with.
You should probably make some general examples of how to put anything in the top bar.
I would like to put:
Search and jump field to the right.
And name of the web in the middle.
It would be great if this would be "cook booked".

It works for me. See
http://visiblearea.com/devtwiki/bin/view/TWiki/WebTopBar
Search and jump field to the right. And name of the web in the middle.
Try a table with 3 columns, logo at left, name in middle column and fields in the right column.

Note that I marked the bug item as enhancement. No need to hurry on this one.
Actually Arthur. The URL with the language selection does not work on your page either. OK it is there. But it does not look good. Note that the Logo on the left is pushed up. It is no longer vertically centered. And the language button is close to the bottom of the top bar on the right. I think it is because the <DIV> causes a new line. Maybe SPAN will work. I tried a little this morning but did not have find the solution. On the table solution - I will try that also. My point was that it is not easy to figure out how to add stuff to the top bar because part of the magic is hidden in the template. So some cook book info will do wonders for people that want to add stuff. Just a few example that people can elaborate on. There was a guy requesting how to add the name of the web in the top bar earlier (he used Cairo). It shows that such info will be popular. But let us get Dakar shipped first.

Done in
PatternSkinCustomization.
