Does this site look broken?. Use the LitterTray web for test cases.

I did what I normally do which is update from svn, merge in or copy over the updates, and then visit my wiki once I'm done. Only this time I got a nasty surprise. It bombed out with errors like "cannot find matching TMPL:END for TMPL:DEF" and such things. I thought I made a mistake, so edited some templates to see, and it would still bomb. Then I check the svn log output, and see that "it shouldn't break anything". Yikes! Too bad, since it looked like minor but promising changes.

Well, I've reverted the module to 8925, so that it works normally.

svn diff -r8925:8938 lib/TWiki/Templates.pm will show you.

The new code is debugging for when a TMPL:END is seen that doesn't have a matching TMPL:DEF. If you are using local templates, then fix them. That's the point of the debugging. I would recommend that you re-instate the change and fix your templates.

The checkin also included extensive changes to the default templates, which are likely to have caused the error you saw, and have probably been fixed in SVN 8951. Please report any further errors against the templates.

See Item1126. SVN 8926 broke the NatSkin. The templates can't be fixed, they are designed this way.

Reverted the offending change
