DateFieldPlugin is using the old scheme for inserting refs to JSCalendar - needs updating. Also need mklinks.sh to link contribs as well as plugins.

Oh? I'm still seeing a problem with this at r7170

InstalledPlugins insists that it is disbaled. My logs tell me

(TWiki::Plugins::DateFieldPlugin) JSCalendarContrib >=0.961 required, $Rev: 7170$ found

It looks to me as if the mechanism that compares revision is getting confused with the SVN revision. The variable $VERSION in JSCalendarContrib was "0.961" before r6758 when CC changed it and "broke" its interaction with DateFieldPlugin.

I'm all in favour of the use of $VERSION to report in a standard format, but what's going on here is that its reporting the last SVN fetch not the last revision to the code.

We need to decide, therefore, what $VERSION is to mean:

  • Revision to the code
  • Fetch from SVN

They are not the same. The latter may update to ever increasing numbers while the former does not change until teh code is changed.

Oops; there was an ancient version check. Removed in SVN 7265. CC
