Does this site look broken?. Use the LitterTray web for test cases.

I was surprised to find that a search on 'Sandbox' found a topic that had no text except for the 'topic moved' notice Sandbox.Blabla moved from Sandbox.blabla on 23 Mar 2006. Apparently SEARCH scans the META fields.

Is this desired? It is at least counter-intuitive. I would expect SEARCH to find only the rendered %TEXT%, comparable to this plain topic text.

It is required behaviour; in fact it is the single biggest reason why we have been unable to build new store implementations, to date.

Required behaviour for compatibility?
