There are lots of inconsistencies in rendering
Web.SubWeb.SomePage
links.
I am documenting many such inconsistencies in the attachment.
I have already reported that referring to
SomePage renders as a nonexistent link, but clicks through to edit
Web.SubWeb.WebHome
.
The main purpose of this bug report is to report the inconsistency:
Web.SubWeb.SomePage
renders as a link to
Web.SubWeb
,
while
Web.SomePage
renders as a link to
SomePage
I.e. in the nested subweb case the page name is elided, whereas in the non-nested case the web name is elided. This is inconsistent.
I think that the correct behavior should be
Web.SubWeb.SomePage
renders as a link to
SomePage
,
for consistency.
I have attached a screendump showing the various link syntaxes and their renderings. I have also attached the wiki text that produces the table.
My apologies - when I uploaded the box I asked for a link to the attachment. But it seems to obnoxiously present itself at the head of the page. And I cannot see how to easily delete it.

I just updated the table with findings. The remaining issues are wishes, and need to be followed up with a change request in Codev. No further action required here.
