Does this site look broken?. Use the LitterTray web for test cases.

When attempting to run statistics on previous month with the logdate variable and the webs variable, TWiki will error out:

"TWiki detected an internal error - please check your TWiki logs and webserver logs for more information. Insecure dependency in open while running with -T switch"

From command line you can view the full error the system spits out (from within bin):

./statistics webs=Servers logdate=200605
The full error mentions RcsFile.pm, Store,pm, and others. If you're unable to replicate, I can provide full error message

From teh web you can run: http://domain.com/twiki/bin/statistics?webs=Servers&logdate=200605

The beginning output works correctly, reports on the correct web specified and the month/date, but does not write the output to the WebStatistics file.

Forcing statistics to run via the "(You can also force an update)" on any WebStatistics page does work, however, but only for the current month.#

The first problem is the command line; the correct parameter specification is:
./statistics -webs Servers -logdate 200605
where did you get the webs= syntax from?

The second problem is that command line parameters are indeed tainted. i fixed that.

Summary statistics does not like date variable sent to it because its tainted
