Hi Arthur,

your latest changes to the PatternSkin added new fonts to it which are a bad choice on an X11 platform because Lucida and Helvetica are a bitmap fonts there.

So I'd suggest to change

font-family:"Lucida Grande", lucida, verdana, helvetica, sans-serif
to
font-family:verdana, arial, sans-serif

Regards.

I did not add fonts, but I changed the order of verdana and lucida.

Can I keep "Lucida Grande" for the Macs? I think that is not a font on other systems. So:

font-family:"Lucida Grande", verdana, arial, sans-serif

Perhaps you can try this out? -- AC

You are right, "Lucida Grande" is fine as it does not exist on X11 (here). -- MD

I plead for using a courier type of font for the html edit forms, as it ever has been, cause one doesn't recognize the art of ascii text with the actual font. frown -- FJ

Fixed in 6165. -- AC

Sorry Arthur, to insist. But you still use some bitmap fonts in headers. See a patch for what I would propose ... reopened to put it on your radar again wink

-- MD

OK, no problem. I overlooked Helvetica. Will fix this tonight. -- AC
