Why should this be incorrect?
Because there is no way of expanding tags without expanding the plugins. A plugin may expand some builtin tag only. E.g., in a number of occasions in plugins one wants %SEARCH% expanded, but not all plugins that might operate on the page. It seems that now we have the situation that some, but not all plugin tags are expanded via
. Maybe that is by design, but it sure seems strange. -- TW
