Does this site look broken?. Use the LitterTray web for test cases.

Is it overkill to have two ways of getting to this feature?

That is called redundancy, and serves the user. --AC
Right. But is this feature really that important (I may be biased as I implemented it) --TW
Personally I don't like the tab on the edit screen, because if there are no preferences in the topic and you click on it, it just throws you into a useless screen.

If there is no better implementation available, I think we should remove the tab.

Why is it a useless screen? You can define variables/preferences there, isn't it? -- AC
OK, it's changed since I last looked at it. It's harmless, and as arthur says, serves the user. CC
