create_new_extension.pl has hardcoded content for the extension topics it creates. This is out of sync with TWiki.org's templates, and it does not reflect the documented way of creating a new extension topic (see TWiki:Plugins/PluginPackageHowTo)

For example, the hardcoded topic is missing the Copyright, License, TWiki Dependency, Benchmarks rows in the info table.

i updated the missing bits. I think the alternative to hardcoding - extracting the topics from t.o. whenever the script is run - is rather heaviweight compared to maintaing the script. i don't see this as a big problem, so I'm regrading to Low. The analysis is clear, so marking as Actioning.

Are you actioning this?

Otherwise it should be in new state.

KJL

No, it is analysed and the actions required to resolve it - coding a lookup of t.o. - are clear. it therefore meets the criteria for a bug in "Actioning" state, viz:

Actioning the issue has been analysed, and either someone is working on a fix, or it is waiting for someone to fix it.

This issue is waiting for someone to fix it. No one has stepped forward yet.
