Does this site look broken?. Use the LitterTray web for test cases.

Since Dakar has included login_name feature for web installations, the differences between TWikiRegistration and TWikiRegistrationPub have become minimal. The only substantive difference appears to be that TWikiRegistration forces the login_name to be lower case. It doesn't seem like this minor difference is worth maintaining the two topics (and added step in turning on authentication).

Therefore, the proposed changes are:

  1. Get rid of TWikiRegistrationPub.
  2. Add note to TWikiUserAuthentication#Enabling_Template_Login that lets admin know that if they would like to enable upper/lower case login_names, all they have to do is delete .toLowerCase() from javascript for the login_name field.

On the very day I was going to implement this, CC has done it (SVN 6333) using a different approach leveraging new IF variable. LB
