In the twikiplugins directory there is a plugin AddMetaPlugin. Note that

  1. there is no such topic on twiki.org
  2. the plugin code is suspect as it executes code from Empty plugin
  3. the plugin makes no sense, as a user can add metadata to a topic just by typing it into the topic
  4. what the plugin seems to want to do can also be achieved via the topic-specific variable interface
  5. the plugin author has left the community.

True, such plugin could do more than the user can by just typing meta data into the topic, such as analyzing that the user does not violate any existing meta data and prevent certain meta data to be written.

But given all the above, I think it is better to delete this plugin just in case some user comes along and is confused....

I removed it.
