If I %EDITTABLE{include="Topic"}% there is no existance check for Topic. If the topic doesn't exist, a single-column table with no header is defaulted, and it's really hard to debug what is going on.

IMHO if the topic doesn't exist the Edit button should not be generated.


Not showing the edit button is just as bad, it leaves the user in the dark. Better to show an error message next to the buton.
