Could you provide some details? Page rendering of a slideshow looks OK on TWiki.org's TWiki 4.1 in page view mode and slideshow view mode. Example: TWiki:Codev/TWikiPresentation2006x04x05

Print of slideshow in slideshow mode was never supported (empty vertical space is needed for actual slideshow.)

Preview - not print.

I do not think anyone expects to see it in presentation mode. Just normal preview like any topic. But the results it totally goofed up.

Hit edit and then preview on any presentation.

It was the restoration of URL parameters that was added as a feature that caused it.

It has some exceptions but it added a parameter like text. This meant that the entire text content was URL encoded. If the topic contained an IF this would fail and you add the visible corruption. Additionally excluding text from the url parameter encoding was the simple fix for this one. Fixes are always simple. It was fiding the root cause that took 4 hours

Checkin 12619 is a typo in a SVN checkin and has nothing to do with this plugin.
