Example of this behaviour is visible on topic: http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/Support/AnsweredDakarQuestions

The page you refer to looks fine on my IE6.

Is this something you see only on twiki.org?

Have you tried a control-F5 (force reload of style sheets) in your browser?

I noticed this behaviour also on my TWiki intalation, on one topic - in FF page looks correct but in IE bars are not visible. I tried to reload style sheets but it did not work. Now the topic of link shown above works fine.

Twiki.org sometimes have a problem with incomplete loading because of experiments with using Speedy-CGI. So you cannot always count on what you see there. But if you see this at your own TWiki then please make sure you submit a topic that has the problem with the bug reports. Otherwise an error like this - which the developers would have seen right away of it was a general problem - will rot here on Bugs for two months and closed with no actions.

You can always attach the raw topic to the bug item or you can create the topic in the LitterTray web. And if you do not see the error there then you know you need to give much more info about your setup. All the modules, plugins, perl, OS, browsers, changes you have made to Twiki and always with versions.

Thank you for the tip. I checked content of topic and found out that shown below sequence caused error on viewing topic - on IE 6.0, ( on FF works fine).

<Title (max 40 char)>

Error: character "(" not allowed in attribute specification list.

I guess we cannot do much about what browsers accept.
