Detail

twiki.org is again often not loading complete pages.

Often top bar and left bar are not shown and the botton of topics are missing. Mostly with long topics.

Guess the Speedy CGI is still not a good idea to run with

-- TWiki:Main/KennethLavrsen - 02 Mar 2007

If these pages load longer than 120 seconds then apache will kill the request using the RLimitCPU feature. When this happens in the middle of sending the page you get exactly the behavior as you describe it. So you are at least able to get the error without speedy. I've set the RLimitCPU to 240 seconds now. Please report any misbehavior including the url and the time when it was seen.

-- TWiki:Main.MichaelDaum - 04 Mar 2007

I see this on approx every 10th topic. It does not take 240 seconds. The page loads incomplete in maybe 5 seconds.

And when it happens it happens again and again. And my workaround is always to use viewauth instead of view. Then it never loads incomplete.

I do not think it runs out of time. It probably runs out of memory. I simply do not think you can run so many speedy sessions in parallel as the server has been setup for. It is a really bad image for TWiki that twiki.org behaves like this.

We even had bug reports from people stating that top and left bar was not loaded on twiki.org. This is exactly what I see all the time also.

The last topic that loaded incomplete and made me return here is TWiki:Codev.DevelopersNews which I just updated.

-- TWiki:Main.KennethLavrsen - 04 Mar 2007

I tried loading DevelopersNews again and this was 2 minutes after. And it still loaded incomplete. And it took 10 seconds and no more was sent to the browser and the browser does not indicate receiving anything more. This has nothing to do with RLimitCPU

I tried reloading the page 4-5 times and it loaded incomplete each time. And then finally a complete page was loaded. Each time I counted no more than 10 seconds loading.

Seems fixed
