works exactly as I would expect it to; the wikiword is shown with a disabled link to create the topic.

I think this is a case of mistaken expectations. If there is something I am missing, please highlight it!

Seems to be fixed in 4.1.2 I'v tested it on http://develop.twiki.org (TWiki 4.1.2) and its fixed there. Occurs in TWiki 4.1.1
