i did fux it because i wasn't sure if its missing anything else.

After having the problem Sven pointed me to the URL to download the config file directly. I downloaded the file into the proper directory and updated permissions on the Config.spec file. The {DBCacheContrib}{Archivist} option was still not displaying on the config page after this update.

I didn't reckon with a bug in older versions of configure. I changed it to have a sensible default if the option is missing in configure. Pick up the latest release, it will work without the setting.
