Feature requests:

  1. Disable whole table edit when using vertical row edit (vertical row edit implies that whole table is never going to work, so why bother)
  2. help topic / text on each row when vertical row editing
  3. add row button outside the table when vertical row editing

-- TWiki:Main/CrawfordCurrie - 08 May 2007

Really there are two modes: "allow whole table edit" and "don't allow it". In the first mode, it makes sense to have the whole table edit button. In the other, it makes sense to just have an add row button (and maybe a delete row button; or maybe not, it's dangerous).

Help on a row would be rather tricky; there is no scope in the EditTablePlugin definition for doing that. But a helptopic that can be included is more practical.

Help topic added

And the other featurettes, under the control of the disable parameter.
