People have been ignring the TestCases
web becuase it isn't run automatically.
The automatic tests then could, and should, be run from the unit test suite.

This is a great initiative. Really really great!
The real unit tests are quite difficult to write as they require quite a lot of knowledge of object oriented perl and the test CPAN library.
The web based tests are much easier to put together. So yes, it will be a great help.
I tried to run the tests manually the good old way and many of them fail now. note that the TOC test only succeeded before when run from the run link inside the topic. It failed when run from the TestCases
because the URL is different and the generated TOC is depending on the URL.
It is important that the test cases both pass in manual mode in a browser and automatically.
But I also see you did not close this bug item so I guess you know and are still working on the code.
But again GREAT INITIATIVE. This will make a difference in the right direction as there is now no excuse left to not run all test cases and at least make test cases in the test cases web. Great great great follow up - very much in line with my wish to get higher code quality. This makes it feasible for developers to make and run more tests more regularly. This gives you another Twiki heart.
