Detail

We have always wanted the most important navigation links at the top of the web left bar and have therefore always put the %INCLUDE{"%IF{"context can_login" then="TWiki.WebLeftBarLogin"}%" warn="off"}% at the bottom.

This does not look good anymore. There are now some strange lines below.

Compare these two links. (if broken try 3 minutes later - the site autoupdates from SVN every half hour)

I agree that does not look well. But from usability point of view I wouldn't advise to put those links so far out of sight.

From a usability point of view I have some more important include at the top of my WebLeftBar. Since people have to authenticate even to read they never see a login. And they cannot logout with Apache authentication. Only 3-4 users ever added their own left bar links. So in my case (and probably other cases with similar use) the WebLeftBarLogin is very secondary and fits better at the bottom leaving some important navigation at the bottom.

For a TWiki where you can read pages without logging in I agree that it is important that the login is visible at the top and this is also where it should continue to be in the distribution.

But that does not prevent us from adding the little detail that enable people like me to move it to the bottom.

I can just add a HR in the WebLeftBarWebsList

I could do that to close this but that could probably be annoying for others. So I pull this one back.
