Does this site look broken?. Use the LitterTray web for test cases.

Need to test on Windows platforms. At least XP with Cygwin, should also do ActiveState Perl I suppose

SvenDowideit is currently playing with WindowsXP, IIS5.1 and ActiveStatePerl
  1. FIXED - DOCUMENT_ROOT is not defined on IIS 5.1 - while GATEWAY_INTERFACE is defined on both apache and IIS
    • now you can actualy view more than just the default web WebHome topic
  2. FIXED Sandbox should now work properly CC
  3. FIXED Sandbox does now work kindof (but ActiveStatePerl is set to use old - insecure `$cmd`) SD
    • both topic and content Search now work
  4. FIXED (by waiting long enough) can't attach a file though

I've done about as much testing on windows as i can bear at the moment I'm going to close this as fixed, and let people report specific errors, as the most trivial functionality seems to work

MC just added tools/rewriteshbang.pl in Commit:5875 which rewrites the #! lines from "/usr/bin/perl" to just "perl". Useful where its useful.

MC has been testing the testsuite on Windows XP / GnuWin32 / IndigoPerl :

C:\moreprgs\indigoperl\apache\TWiki\test\unit>perl ..\bin\TestRunner.pl CoreTestSuite.pm exporting TWIKI_ASSERTS=1 for extra checking; disable by exporting TWIKI_ASSERTS=0 Assert checking on Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at C:/moreprgs/indigoperl/apache/TWiki/test/unit/TWikiTestCase.pm line

It was interpreted as a "" or a 0, but maybe it was a mistake. To suppress this warning assign a defined value to your variables.

To help you figure out what was undefined, perl tells you what operation you used the undefined value in. Note, however, that perl optimizes your program and the operation displayed in the warning may not necessarily appear literally in your program. For example, "that $foo" is usually optimized into "that " . $foo, and the warning will refer to the concatenation (.) operator, even though there is no . in your program.
