Item4645: Kupu interface for adding images and links

While the TinyMCE's look & feel is vastly superior compared to Kupu's, I prefer Kupu's interface for adding images which allows to pick a image which is stored locally. This is a very intuitive procedure (at least for Word users). I also like to interface to include internal links with its drop-down list of available topics. Would it be possible to include these features in TinyMCE as well?

This is indeed not a nice to have but a must have. The less steps users need to learn, to easier the system will have success.

I also think, it would be a very usefull feature. We want to use the TinyMCE, but we need this feature before we change from kupu to TinyMCE. Please include this in the next release!!!

Thank you, it's great. Now it's easy for each user to link to an attachment without knowing the name of it. I tested it and it works fine. But I miss another very intuitive feature from Kupu. With Kupu I can include internal links with a drop-down list of available topics. I think, it's a very important feature, because I don't know all the topics of large twiki webs. Is it possible to include this too?

Great new feature! Thanks! Sorry to continue niggling but the only thing that's a bit counterintuitive is the fact that you have to close and reopen the attach dialog to insert a link. I guess we can live with that... I just noticed one more thing: The attachments aren't listed in the attachment table. Where did they go?

The local linking would be great too...

Crawford, this is really great! I have had to keep Kupu in place for this very feature - maybe now I will be able to retire Kupu.

Would it be possible to add a file icon (e.g. ) when you create a link to an attachment?

I also vote for the local linking.This feature is a big incentive to do one's editing in the wywiwg editor. If it is possible to filter the list (e.g. in the same way as adding text in the Jump box) then that would be even better.
