when using the bugs system, at least once every 4-8 topics are rendered withing css, then suddenly flash to pattern.

oh yeah - safari on osx - most often happens on the larger search-ing / query topics

Not seen by anyone else (Safari on Windows, FF, IE on other plafs); downgraded to Normal until the boundaries of the problem are better defined
