Host: win2ksp4 with cygwin, perl v5.8.7 built for cygwin-thread-multi-64int

Obelix1@obelix /d/Apache2/sites/dakar
$ ./mklinks.sh -cp CommentPlugin
cp: cannot stat `../../../twikiplugins/CommentPlugin/lib/TWiki/Plugins/CommentPlugin': No such file or directory

Also there is no feedback as when the script is doing anything. At first I thought it was hung or waiting for me to press another key or something (using the default option). Only the fact that Task Manager was open and I could see ln and sh were very active let me know anything was happening.

this is only for during development, right? i changed the category to "Build"

shouldn't this script be retired in favour of the perl version, anyway? -- WN * I think so, yes. We can't guarantee that sh is installed, but we can assume perl is wink -- MC

Fine, just make sure it works first please! The sh version was a quick hack, so it doesn't surprise me it has problems. CC

Not deleted the sh version yet, but moved the perl one out of tools.

Since the perl version is available, and this is not release-critical, deferring. CC

replaced with psuedo-install.pl
