When a topic is opened in edit mode (standard WYSIWIG), then the Save button is deactivated in the beginning because the contents is still retrieved from the server.

If at that moment you switch to the Twiki editor, then the Text "Please wait.... retreiving from server" is kept as content of the topic and the Save button becomes active. Saving at that moment cause loss of all content.

I can also confirm this bug. If it remains in 4.2, I will have to disable the WYSIWYG. It is causing a lot of problems with my users that are testing the new TinyMCE editor. In my opinion, this bug should be urgent.

What browser? If it is firefox, you are probably running into Item4737

Dean, you can always raise the priority of an issue if it is hurting you. This is a wiki, after all! wink
