Detail

I am using the latest version of the plugin and version 4.1.2

When I go for editing the table I do not see any buttons for deleting and moving the rows. I tested it on the twiki bug site with an example and there everything is ok. So it isn't my explorer.

Sounds like you have forgotten a setting for Set JAVASCRIPTINTERFACE = 1.

This should be default in the plugin topic but you may have disabled it in Main.TwikiPreferences.

-- TWiki:Main.KennethLavrsen - 16 Jan 2008

I am setting this item to No Action because I am 99.9% sure that the above is the problem. And if I do not flip it now it may stay open for a year.

Should I be wrong (it happens) then feel absolutely free to flip back to New. But then it would help getting more background details on your installation and an example topic.

-- TWiki:Main.KennethLavrsen - 16 Jan 2008

As you said JAVASCRIPTINTERFACE is default 1 and is not overwritten in any topic. Made a global search. So this doesn't seem to be it.

I checked also my behaviour contrib and it has latest version 15364 (09 Nov 2007)

With the latest plugin, it is still not visible. I saw Internet Explorer 7 gives the following error on the code

Line:845

Char:5

Error'twiki' is undefined

Code:0

-- TWiki:Main.FrederikBeun - 04 Feb 2008

I cannot access that page. twiki is undefined means that twikilib.js is not loaded.

-- TWiki:Main.ArthurClemens - 04 Feb 2008

Indeed the twikilib.js is probably not loaded (see html code page(attachment)) but the twiki.js is and this contains the same code as in twikilib.js

the line which contains the error is

var url = twiki.getMetaTag('EDITTABLEPLUGIN_EditTableUrl');

and before this line twiki is also used (see attachment)

-- TWiki:Main.FrederikBeun - 05 Feb 2008

This looks like a compatibility issue: EditTablePlugin assumes newer javascript.

Ok it works here, but not on http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/Sandbox.EditTablePluginTesting it doesn't and it has indeed other javascripts included. So this means that you need 4.2.0 to show these buttons? I am still working with 4.1.2. If so, it would be better to note this on the plugin topic.

As I understand quite well I need to update my javascript.pattern.tmpl with a link to the new javascripts. Where can I find the latest revision of this file for TWiki 4.1.2?

-- TWiki:Main.FrederikBeun - 07 Feb 2008

I added all javascript which are used here on the debug site and removed twiki.js and still error on the same line? strange

-- TWiki:Main.FrederikBeun - 07 Feb 2008

fixed with new version update
