Works for me.

There was some javascript error that manifested itself as the link button not working.

Can you try and upgrade the WysiwygPlugin and TinyMCEPlugin from configure?

We may have cured this one.

Works for me, too...it never occurred to me to try it on TWiki's main site (duh). The Find more Extensions link in the configure panel takes us nowhere--it's just endless loading. Any idea why? We did, however, upgrade the two plugins you mention, manually, but still face the same issue. I think I'll go to Support Web with the problem (which also extends to the hyperlink, image, anchor, custom character, and attachment buttons).

Thanks, Kenneth.

A common problem when upgrading a plugin where the upgraded code is either CSS or Javascript is that the browsers cache the CSS and JS.

Try and hit Edit and while editing key Control-F5. This forces a refresh. Also do the same in normal view mode.

Most webservers / browsers are configured to expire the files after 1 or a few days so your users should see the problem disappear by itself if the Control-F5 works for you. It also works in IE.

The configure feature depends on twiki.org responding. If you tried while it was heavily loaded then it may fail. I have seen this just a few days ago. Then you try again 5 minutes later and it works.

Hi Kenneth,

I don't think the issue has to do with expiring files--the problem still exists, and after a quick survey, I found my colleagues has the same issue in Firefox.

The issue has also been raised in TWiki:Bugs.5216, and TWiki:Main.MartinKaufmann referred the reporter to the following link: TWiki:Support.TinyMCEPluginPopUpsProblem. I'll try the suggestions, but I never had this issue in v4.1.2; only in 4.2.0 (TWiki:Plugins.TinyMCEPlugins was not part of the installation package in the former version).

The instructions for resolving the problem worked! Problem solved--see the link above (TWiki:Support.TinyMCEPluginPopUpsProblem).
