Hello, I have recently completed my first install of TWiki. I have installed version 4.2 on platform HPUX 11.11 w/apache. After completing the install and logging in and browsing around I have seen the following errors:
When I click the "User Tools" link, I get:
Could not perform search. Error was: /usr/local/bin/fgrep -F -i -l -H -- %TOKEN|U% %FILES|F% Grep for 'UserToolsCategory' returned error
A slightly different message occurs when I click the "Groups" Link under "TWiki Web":
TWiki detected an internal error - please check your TWiki logs and webserver logs for more information. path -E -i -l -H -- %TOKEN|U% %FILES|F% Grep for 'Set GROUP =' returned error
Both the apache and TWiki error logs show the same thing:
| 29 Feb 2008 - 09:10 | /usr/local/bin/egrep -E -i -l -H -- %TOKEN|U% %FILES|F% Grep for 'Set GROUP =' returned error at /apps/twiki/lib/TWiki/Store/SearchAlgorithms/Forking.pm line 83.
My egrep/fgrep versions at /usr/local/bin show "GNU grep 2.5.3".
I'm not sure if this is really a bug or a "new admin" error. I'm very new to TWiki. I apologize if this has already been addressed previously. I did search and found similar errors, but those were the results of empty searches, rather than from clicking links on a fresh install.

Jimmy, if you're still insterested - sorry we seemed have lost your report - do you still have this issue?

I eventually fixed the issue, it was missing perl modules. Thanks.

Please re-open this report, if you think, the missing perl modules were not the reason for the error.
