Wysiwyg eats new lines inside verbatim blocks

This seems to be a new bug introduced after the UTF8 fixes.

I am testing this with TWiki setup for iso-8859-1.

And I used Firefox as client.

Here is a test

I make a verbatim block in raw edit.

Then I open the topic in wysiwyg and save.

And gone are all new lines inside verbatim

I have after several edits also seen the newline before the verbatim being eaten.

I have not yet tested for all the old newline bugs that we have fixed through 2007. Need to check for these also.

  • Bullet before newline. Now adds at least one empty line below followed by verbatim block consisting of 3 lines.

Line 1
Line 2
Line 3

This was a transitory error caused mainly by my not running the unit testcases. My bad. Now fixed Item5528.
