New link symbols like this one: NoneTopic have an extra space at the right side of the question mark. Because the link is dotted in pattern skin, this leaves an ugly bug squash at the right.

Render.pm has this in line 559:

                    $this->{NEWLINKSYMBOL} x $num . " " );

Actually I don't understand the use of the space. If I remove the space like this:

                    $this->{NEWLINKSYMBOL} x $num );
everything still works. Also no problems in classic skin, with or without text at the right of the newlink.


I think it's to do with plurals, where you might have ? ?? ??? after the word. I made a better solution.
