My TWiki was running 4.2.0 version and under that version wysiwyg editing was pretty much OK.

Now when upgraded to latest 4.2.3 and latest wysiwyg & tinyMCE it really does not work, because it scambles content when trying to edit it.

I am using scandinavian characters like Ää and Öö on our content, but it does not matter because even enter does not decode correctly, as even if i do create a new topic and write 2 lines eg.

Then save it and edit it i am getting this to my tinymce:

Another example, creating a new topic, writing:

Save and Edit i get this:

I have tried to choose different locales, etc. but seems that it does not matter, editing always does scrambles, etc. my content.

Basicly i cant do nothing unless i use raw edit... Not even sure is WYSIWYG plugin to blame or TinyMCEPlugin?

It's the return of Item5659 all over again.

This was fixed for me with the new install (as seen in the comments on that bug), but I'm going to guess it was because the upgrade reset some setting I'd tweaked.

If need be, I have my old install preserved and can (probably) diff anything there's a question on.

I just readed Item5659 comments and i can confirm fix: "The cure is control-F5 while in edit mode at any topic" Yeah, Firefox cache must have some javascript code cached and refreshing cache really fixes this.

Maybe some part of wysiwyg's javascripts needs some cache tuning meta information etc.. We can close my case, its fixed with CTRL+F5
