Templates such as print should be rewritten using the new "cover" functionality. It should be possible to share a single print template across all skins as this template should just zero out some elements. If that is not possible, classic and pattern skin have not yet been brought into a consistent enough state.

Classic skin, default skin and Pattern skin have developed perpendicular. The solution is not to just zero out some elements - the template structure is just very different. I don't think that's good or bad, its just part of TWiki reality.


So, you are saying this isn't practical. Fair enough, discarding it on your behalf.
