Does this site look broken?. Use the LitterTray web for test cases.
Plugins can add a context ID in their initPlugin method; but that's not available to Contribs. So there's no easy way to tell if e.g. TwistyContrib or JSCalendarContrib is installed. It would be neat to be able to do this, because it could be used to make skins tolerant of javascript contribs like JSCalendarContrib and TwistyContrib.

Without such a context ID, we have to allow implicit dependencies, such as PatternSkin being dependent on TwistyContrib. IMHO this is OK, because PatternSkin should really be packaged as a contrib and have a DEPENDENCIES requirement for the TwistyContrib.

But it would still be nice to have a context ID. I think.

All a plugin needs to do is to require the contrib module. That tells it if it's installed. Discarding.
