Does this site look broken?. Use the LitterTray web for test cases.

Since my sites use skins other than PatternSkin I can't rely on Arthur's CSS for doing Twisty stuff.
I have to use the TwistyPlugin and its syntax in some places.

The test at TestCaseTwistyPluginFold tests for the ability to have a topic which is partially hidden by defualt but can be unfolded.

My use for this is

  • Above the fold: Instructions for use
  • Twisty button: Click to proceed when you've read the instuctions and/or agreed to the conditions
  • Below the fold: The for to fill in and submit.

This worked fine before r7000-ish. But some of the more recent changes to the pattern skin to make it able to handle Twisties without the plugin have broken its ability to handle them with the plugin. See the test case.

I've run this test case on my own site which has TwistyContrib and TwistyPlugin enabled.
At r7080 it

  • does not work with Pattern skin
  • does work with Nat skin

I'm marking this as "engine" since it doens't seem to be a Plugin bug. The Plugin worked fine and hasn't changed, its the core - the pattern skin templates - that changed.
