and you're sure you've set it in configure ? -- WN

My configure says: {Site}{CharSet} iso-8859-15

I didn't set it and I cannot delete it. Its just there.

But hey, if I set UseLocale to on, it works and charset is expanded. But that surely must be another bug...

Set priority to Requirement because pages won't validate and other formatting bugs appear. AC
I don't understand this report: %CHARSET% is expanded in my environment, with and without {UseLocale}. {Site}{CharSet} can be overridden in LocalSite.cfg, and if it is set then the variable gets correctly expanded in the rendered pages. So what is wrong?

I'm going to discard this, on the assumption that you will give more information about the problem if it re-occurs.

Probably due to old settings files. I have started from a new LocalLib.cfg and LocalSite.cfg and the bug has disappeared. AC
