{DefaultDateFormat}
in configure says
$day $month $year
. Yet DISPLAYTIME renders 2024-03-28 - 15:55, as does GMTIME: 2024-03-28 - 15:55.
Either the configure settings are wrong, or the variables read the setting wrong.

The {DefaultDateFormat} is a Date format. Not a time format. That is how the feature was specified.
See
TWiki:Codev/UseIsoDates for the agreed spec.
unless I misunderstand the report the code works as specified and I would not want to see the default behavior change so we no longer have the time per default.

It may just be a doc issue. But I find
Formatted time - either GMT or Local server time, depending on setting in configure. Same format qualifiers as %GMTIME% confusing. There is no time setting in configure.
And
Date format defined as {DefaultDateFormat} in configure then appears to refer to the date part, not the time part.
